  • 155 g sugar
  • 4 eggs

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 300 g chocolate chips
  • 150 g nuts
  • 150 g raisins
  • 1 orange grated skin
  • 1 tbsp cream to mount

Step 1

Pour the warm water into a bowl, add an envelope of yeast and stir until completely dissolved. Add a cup of flour, mix and let stand 30 minutes.

Step 2

Pour the warm milk into another bowl, add the remaining yeast envelope, mix and let stand 10 minutes. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, beat the eggs and two yolks with the sugar and vanilla sugar. Add the milk and yeast mixture, and stir until integrated.

Step 3

Cut 150 g of butter into small cubes, arrange them in a large bowl together with a level a teaspoon of salt and the remaining flour, and knead a few minutes. Add the egg mixture and continue kneading until a homogeneous preparation.

Step 4

Add the first mixture of yeast and knead, about 10 minutes, with an electric mixer, until an elastic dough is obtained.

Step 5

Add the chocolate chips, orange zest, nuts and raisins, and knead a little more to integrate all the ingredients. Pour the dough into a bowl smeared with butter and let stand for 2 hours. Spread a panettone mold with butter, pour the dough, cover with a cloth and let stand between 45 minutes and 1 hour.
